TWIN FALLS, Idaho – The College of Southern Idaho coaching staff is excited to announce the signing of Berrett Wilson, a standout guard/forward from Madison High School in Rexburg, Idaho, who will join the Golden Eagles men's basketball team for the 2026-27 season.
Wilson arrives at CSI after a two-year church mission, having one of the most decorated careers in Madison High School history. He was a two-time 5A Conference Player of the Year in 2023 and 2024 as well as a two-time 5A First Team All-State selection. Wilson was a prolific high school player as he established himself as one of Idaho's premier players, scoring more than 1,000 career points in his time with the Bobcats.
The 6-foot-7 Wilson also helped lead Madison to four district championships and a trio of state tournament trophies, earning First Team All-Tournament honors in 2024. Off the court, he excelled academically, graduating with a 4.29 GPA.
"Berrett is a tremendous addition to our program," said CSI head coach Jeff Reinert. "At 6-foot-7, he has tremendous versatility, a high basketball IQ, and a winning pedigree. He's proven himself as one of the top players in Idaho, and his commitment to excellence both on the court and in the classroom makes him a perfect fit for the culture we're building at CSI. Wilson is expected to make an immediate impact with his combination of size, skill and leadership as the Golden Eagles prepare for the 2026-27 season.
Wilson joins a Golden Eagle squad that is coming off a national runner-up season and a Scenic West Athletic Conference championship in 2025-26. He is the sixth member of this signing class.
