Kaysha has maintained straight A’s throughout high school while taking multiple overload classes and participating in sports and clubs. This shows that she is very disciplined and completes the goals she sets for herself. She is a super respectful young lady.

Scholar of the Week: Kimberly High School's Kade Larson

Kade is a well-rounded student with academic success as well as athletic success and leadership. He has been on the basketball and football teams throughout high school. He was varsity team captain both his junior and senior year for both sports. He has earned offensive player of the year honors in our district for football this year and 1st team quarterback last year. He participated in track for 2 seasons and will start his second season of baseball this spring. Kade is a member of Magic Valley Leadership where he learned about business and leadership. Kade works for the KSD tech department. He has spend time in the community refereeing both KYA football and basketball games and doing volunteer service. Along with his 4.0 GPA and valedictorian track, Kade has been awarded student of the year in several classes.

Easton has been a remarkable asset to Twin Falls High School. He has been involved in many of our academic programs and taken rigorous classes with and maintained excellent grades. Easton is extremely talented in all that he does, but I have always been impressed with his desire to serve his peers. Through our in-school tutoring, he reaches out to help his classmates. His passion and dedication is inspiring and is enhanced by his smile and positive attitude. Not only is he willing to work hard, but he does it happily.
Scholar of the Week: Murtaugh High School's Yandell Gil

I believe Yandell should be considered for this award because one month into his senior year this fall, he had a major stroke and was hospitalized for the next six weeks. Once he was released from the hospital in Utah, he was here the very next day, working to get caught up in his classes and finish up his senior project. He couldn’t wait to return to school and get back to work.

Emily is a junior who decided to graduate a year early because she will have completed all of her high school graduation requirements. Emily has accomplished this by taking overload classes and filling up her school schedule with all the requirements. Emily has also managed by earn all A’s in all of her high school classes. She’s on track to graduate with a 4.0 GPA and be one of our valedictorians.

Aysha Cleverley is extremely driven and motivated, especially when it comes to her academics. She is the class of 2024 valedictorian and has maintained her 4.0 GPA while taking over 15 college credits and participating in multiple extracurricular activities.
