A Burley man convicted of killing 14-year-old Regina Krieger in 1995 has asked for a new trial.
Minidoka County Sheriff Eric Snarr has earned his executive certificate from Idaho Police Standards and Training (POST). This award is only earned by a very select few agency heads. Only a Sheriff or a Chief of Police may obtain this elite status.

Larry Cottom, Brad Cottom, Officer Daniel Vanleeuan, Sheriff Eric Snarr, Jeny Hawkins, and K-9 Deputy Toby Rupert Lions Club had a presentation by officer Vanleeuan on the K-9 program and the drug program in Minidoka county. Sheriff Eric Snarr helped to answer questions the Lion members had. The Lions members elected to donate $540 to the K-9 program to help with the upkeep of deputy Toby to help keep this great program in Minidoka County.
