Declo vs. West Side state semifinal

Declo running back Keegan Duncan encourages West Side defensive back Marino Vedova after Duncan outran Vedova to score a touchdown in the third quarter Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, during the 2A State Semifinal game at Holt Arena in Pocatello. Declo defeated West Side 61-28 to advance to the championship game. NOTE: You normally see players interacting after the game, but I've never seen them do so in the middle of a quarter after one person scores. Duncan is literally encouraging his opponent in this moment for almost catching him, which sounds condescending but coming from Duncan it is entirely sincere. This is a level of sportsmanship we don't often see, but when we do it is worth acknowledging.
