TWIN FALLS — Khalid Thomas’s blistering shooting performance highlighted the College of Southern Idaho men’s basketball team’s 112-90 win over Elite Prep Friday night at the Idaho Central Credit Union Invitational.

Thomas shot 12-of-15 from the field and 7-of-10 from 3-point range to finish with a season-high 32 points. Only Charles Jones Jr. has scored more points in a game for the Golden Eagles this season (33 last week against Treasure Valley CC).

Jones had with 16 points on 5-of-10 field goal shooting, and Danya Kingsby (6-of-14) and Keegan Hansen (4-of-8) each scored 15 points.

The Golden Eagles led 46-41 at halftime, but they shot 60 percent from the field and 50 percent from 3 in the second half. They nailed 51.3 percent of their field goals and 46.2 percent of 3s in the game.

CSI (6-1) wraps up the Invite Saturday night against Arizona Western.
