Head coach: Michael Perry, 4th year
2015 record: 2-6
Returning starters: 6
This might be the season the Shoshone Indians have been waiting for under fourth year head coach Michael Perry.
The Indians return a host of starters, from lineman Mark Guzman, Cody Cantrell and Zach Lee to playmakers Alan Ramos, Zach Villgran and Devan Bollar.
Shoshone was relatively strong on defense last year, and its disruptive, somewhat undersized defensive front returns.
Both sides of the ball will need to make a significant jump in order for the Indians to have a fighting change in what is arguably the best pound-for-pound conference in the state.
But with eight seniors and the addition of Michael Perry's son, junior Ethan Perry at quarterback, the Indians should be dramatically improved on offense after after getting shut out four times.
"We like our team, as long as we stay healthy," Perry said of his 25-man group. "We have the skills, we just have to start competing."
