BUHL • Orlen Dale Bailey, 76, a resident of Buhl, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at the home of his stepsister, Mary Fullmer in Gooding.

Dale was born March 14, 1939, in Boise, Idaho, to Everett Orlen and Gertrude Young Bailey. His early years were spent at the Eagle Island State Fish Hatchery and later at the Twin Falls State Fish Hatchery.

He was part of the class of 1957 at Twin Falls High School. After high school, Dale joined the United States Army. Later, he was employed by a cement company in the Mojave Desert in California. He retired from there as a heavy equipment operator.

Dale is survived by two stepsisters, Mary Fullmer and Alta (Dale) Harris, all of Gooding; one stepbrother, Ken (Ruth) Harmison of San Antonio, Texas; two first cousins, Gary and Clayton Sullivan and families of Boise; two stepchildren, Diane (Jack) and Mike, all of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and his wife, Lucille.

No public services are planned.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Horizon Home Health and Hospice for their care of Dale.

Arrangements are pending under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service, Gooding Chapel.
