Welcome! The Twin Falls School District serves nearly 9,000 students in Twin Falls, Idaho. It is comprised of seven elementary schools, two middle schools, one alternative middle school, two high schools, and one alternative high school. All are accredited.

The district is ranked eighth in size among Idaho’s 116 school districts. It is one of the largest employers in an eight-county region, with close to 500 certified and 450 classified staff. The district is governed by a five-member Board of Trustees, whose members are elected by the public and serve without pay.

Our mission is to provide a quality education necessary for students to be successful in life. This includes being academic achievers, clear communicators, responsible citizens, complex thinkers, and quality producers, with the realization that learning is a lifelong process.

Benefits vary depending on the position that is being considered. Full-time positions earn sick leave, personal leave and are eligible for employee insurance (health, dental and life), and participation in PERSI, the state retirement program for Idaho. Part-time positions are eligible for similar benefits and the employer pays for half of the insurance premium. We do also offer year-round positions that earn vacation leave in addition to all of the full-time benefits listed above. Participation in the PERSI retirement program is available for all employee working 20 hours per week or more.

The Twin Falls School District offers a variety of unique benefits that most employers do not offer. We offer a unique work schedule allowing individuals to go to work when their children go to school and their work day is generally over when school is out. We also offer a variety of part-time, full-time and year round positions. Depending on the position that is being considered, most of our employees have the summer off and can work in a location close to their home.
