There is nothing quite like relaxing in a nice big recliner or a large comfortable couch. Lee’s Furniture in Burley believes that and has worked hard to find the best quality furniture around. Isaac Lee started the store in 1945. At the time, he worked primarily as an upholsterer. Early one morning, though, he drove his truck to the Flexsteel Factory in Salt Lake City and bought one couch. He then brought the couch back to Burley and sold it for just enough money to pay for the next trip. During the next visit to Salt Lake City he bought two couches. Eventually, two became four, four became six, and well, you get the picture. Soon, Isaac abandoned his upholstery job and opened Lee’s furniture across the street from the post office in downtown burley. Isaac’s son, Brent currently owns and operates Lee’s Furniture. Brent says when he started working in the store at age ten; his father had already been running the store for 20 years. Brent’s first jobs in the store consisted of sweeping and cleaning, but once he could drive, Brent started making deliveries. After college, Brent took on more managerial tasks until finally assuming full responsibility for the store. Lee’s Furniture carries low-end to high-end furnishings. There is something for all customers no matter what stage in life they are. You can always expect quality service as well. Lee’s furniture sells just about everything a person would need to completely furnish a home. They carry every major brand, and even have interior designers on staff who go so far as to design the entire home layout for customers. Yes, Lee’s Furniture has definitely come a long way since Isaac started it with one couch and a pickup truck.
