HAILEY — The Wood River Land Trust is teaming up with the Sawtooth Botanical Garden, The Nature Conservancy and the Sawtooth National Recreation Area to offer a free "Pollinators in the Landscape" workshop series.

The workshops teach professionals and homeowners about the importance of pollinators in the landscape and how to attract them.

The second workshop in the series is today: pollinator walks from noon to 1 p.m. and from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Draper Wood River Preserve pavilion and at Lions Park in Hailey. Pollination expert Paula Kleintjes Neff of the University of Wisconsin will lead the walks, highlighting the critical interactions between bugs, birds and blossoms.
