MOUNTAIN HOME — The Boise National Forest’s Mountain Home Ranger District lifted the closure for motorized access on all trails in the Danskin Mountain OHV Area, but it temporarily closed access roads and camping areas along the flooding South Fork Boise River.
While the Danskin Mountain OHV closure is lifted, a forest release said, be aware of changing conditions to prevent motor vehicle and trail damage on soft or muddy trails.
“With the Boise Basin having more than 150 percent of snowpack, spring runoff and seasonal flows are extremely high and are expected to continue increasing the probability of more road and trail system damage,” it said.
