TWIN FALLS — Each year, Magic Valley YMCA volunteers and staff members raise funds to give financial assistance to those who cannot afford the full cost of a Y program or membership.
The group’s goal is to raise $70,000, Randy Wastradowski, chief volunteer officer, said in a statement.
Annual support campaign funds involve children in after-school programs, learn-to-swim lessons, summer day camp, making friends and more. Family memberships allow parents and children to spend time together and build bonds.
Active older adults can come for physical activity, to make friends and socialize and to discover mutual interests.
