Richard ‘Dick’ Sears Cook, 90, was born May 29, 1927 in Minidoka, Idaho. He died at home after a short illness on May 9, 2018. Dick graduated from Rupert High School in 1945. He married Leela May Kessinger on July 3, 1948. They have six children, sixteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Dick went to work at the Idaho First National Bank in August of 1947 and worked his way up to assistant manager at the Rupert office. He was promoted to manager and transferred to the Marsing branch in 1969 and then transferred again to the Mountain Home branch in 1972. Dick was made a vice president of the bank (now US Bank) prior to his retirement in 1988.
At his request, there will be no funeral services.
