Dennie Jaso, 78, of Twin Falls, died Saturday, March 10, 2018, at St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center.
Dennie was born June 11, 1939, at Kersey, Colorado, to Macario and Casimira Padilla Jaso. He grew up in Fort Lupton, Colorado, and, in 1958, moved to Los Angeles, California. Dennie owned and operated a bar in Los Angeles called the Nadeau Cafe for 25 years. In 1989, he moved to Twin Falls to enjoy a beautiful town and a slower way of life.
Dennie is survived by his sons, Alex, David and Dennie; his daughter, Dolores; 6 grandchildren, Kimberly Campizta, Frankie Campizta, Sean Hill, Caitlin Hill, Crystal Jaso and Gage Jaso; and 3 great-grandchildren, Kimberly Campizta’s daughters, Kailani Guevara and Alana Guevara, and Crystal Jaso’s daughter, Alena Jaso. He is also survived by his brothers, Bill Jaso, Cid Jaso, and Joe Jaso; his sisters, Nina and Cundo Montoya, Margaret Alvarez, and Cassi and Art Ramierz; and numerous nephews and nieces.
Dennie’s life will be celebrated at a memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Reynolds Funeral Chapel, 2466 Addison Ave. E. in Twin Falls. Condolences may be left at www.reynoldschapel.com.
