January 22, 1932 – November 25, 2017
Bobby “Bob” Loren Eastman of Twin Falls, Idaho passed away Saturday, November 25, 2017 of natural causes. Bob was 85 years young.
Bob was born in Twin Falls on January 22, 1932 to Frank and Hadassa Eastman.
Bob grew up in Twin where he met the love of his life, Lucy Pauline “Polly” Eastman. Bob and Polly were married on January 7, 1951 and remained unconditionally devoted to each other. After returning from the Korean War, Bob and Polly remained in the Twin Falls area and Bob became a Twin Falls Police officer. In 1961 Bob and Polly along with their two children Theresa “Teri” Lynn and Robyn Todd left Twin Falls and set out on a new career adventure with E.R. Squibb and Sons. Bobs career took them to Montana where their third child Casey Wayne was born and then on to Oregon, California, Colorado and finally back to Oregon. Bob and Polly moved back home to the Twin Falls area to enjoy their retirement.
Bob loved life and embraced adventure, whether on the back of his favorite horse high in the Cascade Mountain Range, in their motorhome heading out on an expedition, or on a boat in the Pacific Ocean. He lived life to the fullest. Most important to Bob was his family, his friends and his faith. During his later years Bob would often reflect on the adventures he and Polly had taken, the places they were able to see and the friends he had made along the way.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife Polly, his daughter Theresa and is survived by sons Robyn (Sandy) and Casey (Robin), 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Bob’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Park, Twin Falls with Pastor Roger Sedlmayr officiating.
