TWIN FALLS — A man who went into a tattoo shop to claim a reward from Super Bowl Sunday was attacked and threatened with a pocketknife, police say.
Court documents say the man walked into Ascension Tattoo, 1862 Addison Ave. E., on Tuesday afternoon and got in an argument with his ex-brother-in-law, Shane T. House. House, 53, of Twin Falls reportedly pushed him and claimed the victim had been saying bad things about him.
According to House’s Facebook page, he works as a tattoo artist at Ascension Tattoo. The man told police House had pushed him into a couch, threatened him with a pocketknife, and spit in his face.
House later admitted to an officer that he “may have” displayed a knife during the altercation, court records said. He consented to a search, and police found three knives on House’s person — two folding pocketknives and a fixed-blade knife. The knives were seized as evidence.
House was arrested on charges of aggravated battery and battery, and was booked on a $10,000 bond. He posted bail and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Feb. 16.
