HEYBURN — A rollover crash early Thursday morning resulted in four people being transported with injuries.
At 1:58 a.m. Thursday, Idaho State Police investigated a single-vehicle rollover crash on westbound Interstate 84 at milepost 221, about 10 miles east of Heyburn.
ISP reported Cheyenne Scott, 25, of Tooele, Utah was driving a 2016 Ford Fiesta westbound in the eastbound lanes. Scott failed to negotiate the curve of I-86 westbound to eastbound I-84 connector. The vehicle went off the roadway and overturned into the gore area.
There were three passengers in the car. Max Young, 23, of Tooele, Utah was ejected from the vehicle. He was not wearing a seat belt. Young was flown to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, where he was in critical condition as of Thursday afternoon.
Scott and Dylan Young, 24, of Tooele, and Alexandra Jones, 21, of Orem, Utah, were taken by ground ambulance to Cassia Regional Medical Center in Burley. Jones wasn’t wearing a seat belt.
Scott and Dylan Young were treated and released, a Cassia Regional Medical Center official said Thursday afternoon. Jones was transferred to another hospital.
The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
