HANSEN — Two individuals were injured Friday after a two-vehicle crash on US 30 near Hansen.

According to the Idaho State Police, Jesus Martinez-Vitela, 51, of Mexico, was  driving eastbound at about 6:18 p.m. at milepost 229 in a pickup truck. He  attempted to make a left-hand turn and was struck from behind by a car driven by Naomi Lea, 29, of Twin Falls, ISP said.

Both drivers were transported to St. Luke's Magic Valley Medical Center in Twin Falls — Lea by ground ambulance and Martinez-Vitela by air ambulance. Their condition was not immediately available.

The eastbound lanes were blocked for approximately 30 minutes.
