Those are pet peeves among the Twin Falls School District’s employees of the month for February.

Each month, the school board honors four workers — two certified (such as teachers or school administrators) and two classified (such as paraprofessionals, secretaries and custodians).

Here’s who was recognized in February, with information from a Feb. 12 school board packet:

Job: Fifth-grade teacher at Oregon Trail Elementary School

Pet peeve: Punctuality

What word best describes you?: Determined

How do you want to be remembered?: “I want to be remembered as someone who tried to see the good in others.”

The favorite part of my day is: “The morning when students come in to start their day and are excited to be here.”

Pet peeve: Overpriced coffee tied with no name on papers

What word best describes you?: Adventurous

How do you want to be remembered?: “Everyone’s favorite teacher”

The favorite part of my day is: “When I’m sipping my coffee, preferably before it gets cold!”

Pet peeve: “People who cause contention! ‘Pot stirrers.’

You have a 10 minute speech to give at a high school. What is the title?: “There is life beyond high school”

The favorite part of my day is: “In the evening when I get to spend time with my husband. When we relax and watch our favorite T.V. show or movie together.”
