HOLLISTER — The Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in finding a man they believe to be “armed and dangerous.”

Aaron Segelson, 39, fled the scene of a crash on U.S. 93 near milepost 25 Tuesday night. There is a warrant out for his arrest. Segelson has “dangerous, violent tendencies,” is known to abuse drugs, and is an “escapee and gang member,” according to the sheriff’s office. He may be armed with a 9 mm pistol.

Segelson fled the crash on foot, but authorities believe he was picked up and given a ride. Deputies followed his tracks into Hollister.

The sheriff’s office recommends that everyone in the Hollister area lock their homes and vehicles. They ask anyone with information on Segelson’s whereabouts to call Idaho State Police, the Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office, or 911.
