ARCO — Craters of the Moon National Monument is seeking an area teacher to join its education staff as a Teacher Ranger for four-six weeks this summer. The selected teacher will complete one major education project; develop science and history lesson plans based on their experience for use in their classroom and in the park; engage first-hand with park staff; and gain access to a wide array of teaching resources.
The Teacher Ranger will receive: a $3,000 stipend upon completing the program; graduate credit and professional development hours through the University of Colorado, Denver; and all equipment needed for carry-through.
