TWIN FALLS — Students in the College of Southern Idaho digital media program are involved in a community engaged learning project with the Wellness Tree Community Clinic. The clinic, a local nonprofit organization, offers free medical care for those with low income and with no medical insurance or other resources.
CSI students were recently at the Wellness Tree Community Clinic to gather video footage, photos, and other materials for this project.
CSI digital media students have learned audio, video, web, print creation and design and will create promotional materials for Wellness Tree. The CSI students will assist the clinic with their brand by creating brochures, postcards, radio and video advertising, and billboard advertisements. The clinic will provide CSI students with real world experiences, including what it is like to work with clients, deadlines, and impacts on their own community.
The digital media program is designed for students interested in studying the creation, use, and management of high-quality digital media content.
