BOISE — A new junior software programming apprenticeship training, called Code-to-Career, has been registered through a partnership between Apprenticeship Idaho and the Idaho Technology Council.
Interested candidates will attend a 12-week immersive coding bootcamp at CodeWorks Boise. Near the end of the training, candidates will apply for the registered apprenticeship; those selected will start their full-time paid apprenticeship with the employer sponsor, In Time Tec.
During six months of on-the-job training, the apprentice’s career will advance with wage increases while building stronger competency. Upon completion, the apprentice will receive a recognized credential from the U.S. Department of Labor.
