A. Leon Reed and Virginia L. Reed (Winfrey) were married November 19, 1966 in Caldwell, Idaho. They have lived in the Hansen-Kimberly area most of their married lives.

Leon and Virginia enjoy fishing, hunting and crafts. They are both involved with SIMLA, a black powder club and are officers at this time. The highlight of the summer was an August cruise to Alaska with their son, Jonathan Reed and daughter, Tonya (Don) Corle. Their week is spending time on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at Kimberly Ageless Sr. Center having lunch with new and old friends. They attend Bible Study on Wednesday nights at Hansen Assembly of God and Sundays in Sunday School and Church. Leon Prays and Virginia counts (attendance).

Leon and Virginia have been hard workers. Leon worked on the farm for Bryan Harris Jr. and Bob Harris for 55+ years. Since retiring he has started cutting wood sayings, animals, puzzles and pictures. He loves guns and can reload any and tell you about most guns. Virginia retired from nursing (LPN) having worked at MVRM Hospital in the 70s, later nursing for Idaho Home Health and Hospice Visions. She also drove school bus for several years while the kids attended Jr. and Sr. High School. Virginia loves gardening and roses, not so much on housework.

They are blessed with 2 children, Jon and Tonya, 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.

The family invite you in celebrating their 50th Anniversary on November 19, 2016 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at the Hansen Assembly of God Church, 319 2nd Street East, Hansen, Idaho. Cards welcome. No gifts please.
