HAILEY —The Environmental Resource Center, along with local birding expert/artist Poo Wright-Pulliam, will host "Winter Birds of Hailey" from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday — beginning at the Lion’s Park entrance to the Wood River Land Trust's Draper Preserve, 520 Aspen Drive, Hailey. Participants will walk around the preserve to investigate the winter birds. Owls, American Dippers, Goldeneye and more can be spotted at the Draper Preserve at this time of year.

Both novice and expert birders will be welcome. Take water, lunch, warm clothes and your curiosity. If snow is deep, snowshoes are recommended. There is a suggested donation of $10 ERC members and $20 non-members.

Space is limited, so pre-registration is encouraged. More information or to register: call 208-726-4333 or email alisa@ercsv.org or go to www.ercsv.org.
