Leaders are not called to represent thee native countries or skin color. He calls people to speak the mind and will of him. The Lord calls them and anyone that follows them will go to the Celestial Kingdom regardless of race. Since the Lord is no respect or of persons.

The LDS church has always been against prejudice of any type. If the Lord really thought people’s skin color was important before he called them why didn’t he send them nation or race at birth?

Times in Jesus’s mortal. Ministry he said not to go to the Gentiles. Went there after his resurrection. Some blessings are denied to people in mortality but everyone that keeps the commandments can be saved.

Great messages at conference. Keep the laws by Elder Oaks and we are all children of God so treat everyone with respect.

Glad the church is beginning to take a stand. However....If the LDS church has always been against prejudice of any type, why did Brigham Young support slavery in Utah? Why the priesthood ban on African Americans? Why are pictures of Jesus always a blue-eyed white guy instead of a middle easterner? It's ok if the leaders/prophets of the church were way off base. No point in sugar coating your history. It just makes you seem weak. Every religion/faith/church has skeletons in their closet.
