SHOSHONE —The Lincoln County Historical Society will host its annual spring art show on Friday and Saturday at its museum, 112 W. B St., Shoshone. A reception will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, with refreshments being served and a chance to meet those artists in attendance. The exhibition will continue from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. There is no admission fee, but donations will be accepted.
Artists from the region will exhibit their photography, paintings, poetry, multi-media, drawings and other artistic talents at the event. This year, there will be a $50 award to the artwork voted best by the public.
There is still time to enter your artwork. Registration and entries can be prepared from 12 to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 12 to 4 p.m. Friday at the museum.
The Lincoln County Historical Society is an all-volunteer 501 c 3 non-profit organization that works off donations and grants.
