TWIN FALLS — A preliminary hearing for a Twin Falls woman accused of killing her 20-month-old daughter has been pushed back.
Amanda Dunlap‘s hearing was slated for Friday, but is now at 8:15 a.m. March 30.
The 22-year-old is charged with first-degree murder, and eight counts of felony injury to a child and one misdemeanor count.
The hearing was continued because the investigation is ongoing in the case, Twin Falls County Prosecutor Grant Loebs said Friday. Also, the defense attorney needs additional to prepare for whatever the next step is, he said.
An investigation began in October when police were called to St. Luke’s Magic Valley Medical Center about a baby in distress. The child was flown by helicopter to Boise and died a week later.
