The Cassia County Sheriff’s Office will be offering a FREE-Responsible Rider ATV/UTV class for students age 5 to Adult.  This fun class will teach students how to safely operate an ATV or UTV, Idaho laws and rules of the road. There is a classroom portion with written test and a skills portion where students ride their own size appropriate ATV or UTV and can practice riding skills.  Graduates will receive a proof of completion card that is required to be provided to Law Enforcement when riding on Federal Lands in Idaho.  This card is also accepted in some other states.  This is an ATV or UTV (Side-by-Side) class only.  This is NOT for Dirt Bikes (OHM Off-Highway Motorcycle) class.   If you need an OHM class we can help you find one.  Pre-Registration is required.  Students can register online at or by contacting Sgt.
