Celebrate 11 years of inspiring girls to be joyful, healthy and confident on May 17th with a community 5k fun run/walk and a family fun day!

The 11th Annual Girls on the Run Community 5k and Healthy Living Expo is Saturday, May 17 at Heagle Park in Hailey.  Come out to run, walk, stroll this fun community-wide event that will wind through Draper Preserve and Della View neighborhood in Hailey.  Following the race will be an amazing Healthy Living Expo held at Heagle Park complete with:

Post race lunch $5/plate, A bike rodeo – So ride your bike to the race! Inflatable games, Crafts and other fun kid activities, Fire engine from the Hailey Fire Deptartment, Information from local non-profits and more!

Corporate Teams Competing for the "Best Spirit" award

The Girls on the Run Community 5k welcomes: Webb Nursery, Smith Sport Optics, Rocky Mountain Hardware, St. Lukes Wood River, Sun Valley Sotheby's International Realty teams to the race.  We're excited for them to show their company's spirit at this community event, and have a chance for each team member to win a Garmin GPS watch or a BCRD Fitworks 2 month membership! It's not too late to enter a team into the race!  The cost is $300 and includes a technical t-shirt and post-race lunch.  Just register online, or phone Mary at 788-7853.

You can register online at www.girlsontherunwrv.org/5k, or Friday, May 17, at Sturto’s Hailey from 5-7 pm.  Registration fees are $20 adults and $10 youth (17 & under).  You’ll receive $5 off per registration when you register 4 or more people.  Registration is available race morning from 8-9 am at Heagle park.  Fees will increase race day to $25 adult and $15 youth.
