During this hour-long free concert, you can expect to hear bluegrass and country gospel standards and favorites like "I'll Fly Away" and "Keep on the Sunny Side" along with a discussion of their histories and their theological relevance for us as followers of Jesus in the 21st century.

The artist, Reverend Karl Heimbuck has taught university mathematics, worked for peace and reconciliation in Northern Ireland, engaged in affordable housing solutions alongside Mennonites and Jesuits, and worked at churches and as a hospice chaplain in the West and the South.

A native of Wyoming, he currently serves as interim pastor to the Star Valley United Congregation (a federated Lutheran/ELCA and Presbyterian/PCUSA congregation) in Thayne, Wyoming.
