At the July 17, 2018 regular City Council meeting, the city council met to discuss selling city owned property to a private person. The Shoshone City council passed the following motions: Councilman Sluder made a motion to declare city property west of 506 S. Cherry Street as underutilized for city/public purposes. Councilwoman Swaner seconded the motion. All council members were in favor, no opposition. The motion passed. Councilwoman Swaner made a motion to set the minimum price for the property at the cost of the survey ($1,200.00). Councilman Wallace seconded the motion. All council members were in favor, no opposition. The motion passed. A legal description of the property to be conveyed is available at City Hall. PUBLISH: August 14 and 19, 2018
