Election Day

While playing card games with her family, Ann Reid checks her laptop to see if results are posted for the City Council election Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2017, at her home in Twin Falls. Reid's husband, Christopher Reid, ran against Brian Bell to maintain his seat on the council. Reid won against Bell with 72 percent of the vote. NOTE: This is one of the unseen moments of election night. We always see the polling places, voting booths and public parties. We don't often get to see the candidates in their homes.
