Battle Buddy Run

Clover Smith makes her way through the razor wire low crawl during the 116th Brigade Engineer Battalion's third annual Battle Buddy Run on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, at Dierkes Lake Park in Twin Falls. Competitors had to overcome 11 different obstacles situated throughout a three-mile course. Each obstacle is designed to give civilians a taste of Army training. NOTE: This was the first wave of runners, going through the first obstacle, as the sun was rising. As my photography professor always used to say, arrive early and leave late, because those are the moments that no one else will get.
