Laura Prado, a senior at Jerome High School, has maintained a 4.0 GPA while balancing a variety of community service activities and her academics. She has taken dual credit English 101 and 102, along with trigonometry and calculus. Laura also spends an hour a day tutoring students at an elementary school through the Latinos in Action.
She has helped plan events, such as the Democratic caucus through the Jerome County Democrats. Laura is an active member of National Honor Society, Key Club, Health Occupations Students of America and the JHS Chamber Singers choir group.
She has worked hard to be a good citizen and excel academically. After high school, Laura would like to get a master’s degree in pharmacology through Utah State University.
