In the final Idaho high school girls basketball media poll of the 2017-2018 season, the Oakley Hornets pulled within a single voting point of Prairie, which has sat atop the 1A Division I poll the entire season.

The Hornets (20-0) tied Prairie in first-place votes at four apiece, but a third-place vote left them short of the top ranking. Oakley is currently in 1A-DI District 4 tournament action, and will play Glenns Ferry in the semifinals on Thursday.

Shoshone remained at No. 4 in the poll, and will face Hagerman in the other semifinal matchup.

The 1A Division II poll also shuffled around after Carey (12-7), now No. 5, upset Lighthouse Christian and Dietrich in back-to-back games, both by three-point margins. Dietrich (13-6) dropped out of the top five and received only one vote following losses to Carey and Hagerman.

Despite their road loss to Carey, the Lions (14-4) remain in the No. 4 slot. All three teams will kick off the 1A-DII District 4 tournament on Friday in Shoshone.

Minico (15-6) held its spot in the 4A poll at No. 5. Despite losing a top starter in junior Taylia Stimpson, the Spartans finished the regular season with three straight wins and will host Jerome in the 4A District 4 tournament on Friday.

Buhl and Gooding missed the top five in the 3A poll, but both earned voting points. The Senators moved to 16-5 after beating Kimberly in a 3A District 4 tournament loser-out game Tuesday night after losing to Buhl (15-7) in Monday's opening round.

If Gooding beats Filer in the second loser-out game on Monday, it and Buhl will get a rematch in the district championship next Wednesday.
