Four District 4 teams rose in the week four Idaho high school girls basketball media poll, which was released on Wednesday.

Minico jumped from No. 5 to No. 4 in the 4A rankings, following conference wins against Twin Falls and Wood River. Taylia Stimpson of the Spartans was named the Times-News girls prep athlete of the week for her contributions in that stretch, scoring 31 points total in the two wins. The Spartans are 6-2 and undefeated in the Great Basin Conference.

Despite falling to Snake River for a second time this season, Buhl jumped from No. 5 to No. 4 in the 3A poll, thanks in part to lackluster performances by a few out-of-conference 3A opponents. The Indians (8-2) downed Wendell 50-33 on Tuesday. Kimberly and Gooding also received a point each.

Oakley is the highest-ranked team from District 4, moving from No. 3 to No. 2 in the 1A Division I poll, behind defending state champion Prairie. The Hornets (8-0) beat the previously undefeated Shoshone Indians 34-17 on Saturday and blew out Castleford 63-9 on Wednesday.

Shoshone (8-1) remained at No. 4 in the poll.

Dietrich knocked Lighthouse Christian out of the top 5, earning the No. 5 seed. The Blue Devils (6-2) beat the Lions, who were No. 5 at the time, in Dietrich 47-29 on Monday. Lighthouse Christian (7-2) received five points.
