A battle between No. 2 and No. 4 will take place Friday night in Oakley.

In 1A Division I, Oakley jumped from No. 3 to No. 2 in the latest Idaho high school state media poll, while Valley dropped from tied for first to No. 4 following its first loss of the season.

The Hornets host the Vikings on Friday.

Gooding remained No. 3 in 3A, while Declo and Carey remained No. 1 in 2A and 1A Division II, respectively.

Raft River received six points in the 1A-DI poll, Minico earned three in 4A and Kimberly had three in 3A.
