After three straight weeks at No. 3, Burley High School rose to No. 2 in the state boys basketball media poll.

Winners of eight straight, the Bobcats leapfrogged Skyview for second place in 4A. The Hawks dropped their first conference game of the season Friday at Bishop Kelly.

Valley remained No. 2 in the 1A Division I poll, and it received one first-place vote.

Dietrich was ranked No. 1 in 1A Division II for the seventh straight week, and Carey remained No. 3.

Declo stayed at No. 4 in the 2A poll, and Kimberly earned seven points in 3A.
