CALDWELL — Twin Falls finished its season with a win, beating Century for the consolation championship at the 4A state tournament.

Madison Bailey scored the lone goal of the game in the second half, off of an assist by Madison Glascock.

The Bruins finish the season with a record of 16-3.

Community School 4, Timberlake 0

CALDWELL – Community School captured the consolation championship at the 3A state tournament with a shutout win over Timberlake Saturday.

Ella Viesturs and Grace Pepin netted first-half goals, then Lily Fitzgerald and Rylee Whorton scored goals in the second half.

“The girls gutted it out. Everyone was tired. Lily and Ella were injured. The two of them gutted led the charge and gutted through the pain,” said Community School head coach Kelly Feldman.

Community School finishes the season with a record of 19-1-1.

Snake River 1, Community School 0 (Penalty Kicks)

CALDWELL — For the second day in a row, the Cutthroats lost in penalty kicks at the 3A state tournament.

After a scoreless 80 minutes of regulation and two sudden death overtime periods in the third-place game, Snake River made three of its penalty kicks to Community School’s two.

The Cutthroats’ season ends with a record of 17-5.


Sugar-Salem 3, Gooding 1

AMERICAN FALLS — Gooding fell to the Diggers in a 3A state tournament play-in game Saturday. No other details were available.
