TWIN FALLS — The Riverhawks ended the Tigers’ season with a 25-19, 25-13, 27-25 win in Monday’s Great Basin Conference tournament loser-out match.
Taylor Huddleston had three aces, Makayla Bernal had 12 kills, Madie Hatch had eight kills and Alexis Jones had 33 assists for fifth-seeded Canyon Ridge (8-18), which plays Wood River in a loser-out match Tuesday at Minico High School.
Mercedes Bell had nine kills, and Tiffani Warren had eight for No. 6 Jerome.
“They’re working hard and they want to get better,” Jerome coach Babes Kalulu said of her players. “Looking forward to next year. Trying to figure out what we can do different.”

TWIN FALLS — The Bruins swept the Wolverines 25-10, 25-8, 25-16 to advance to the Great Basin Conference tournament semifinals.
Taylor Burnham had nine kills six digs, and four aces, Kennedi Evans had five kills and two blocks, Kylie Baumert had five aces and 10 digs, Shelby Veenstra had 26 assists and two blocks and Whitney Solosobal had 10 digs and two aces for top-seeded Twin Falls, which hosts second-seeded Burley on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
No. 4 Wood River plays Canyon Ridge in a loser-out match at Minico High School the same day.

BURLEY — The Bobcats advanced to the Great Basin Conference tournament semifinals with a hard-fought 25-22, 25-20, 25-16 win over the rival Spartans on Monday.
Makayla Tolman has 12 kills and six blocks, Hallie Cook had eight kills, Alex Hutchinson had 13 digs and Jayli Searle had 24 assists for second-seeded Burley, which plays at top-seeded Twin Falls on Tuesday.
No. 3 Minico hosts the winner of Canyon Ridge-Wood River the same day.

DECLO — The Hornets are one win away from a Canyon Conference title after Monday’s 25-11, 25-6, 25-16 win over the Trojans.
Declo hosts Wendell again on Tuesday at 6 p.m. with a chance to win the district title and advance to the 2A state tournament.
TWIN FALLS — Kimberly and Wood River were big winners at Saturday’s Canyon Ridge Invite.
The Kimberly boys won the team title with 130 points, and Wood River won the girls title with 104. The Kimberly girls finished second, as did the Wood River boys. The Bulldogs (206) edged the Wolverines (180) for the top combined team score.
For Kimberly, Tyler Lloyd won the boys 100 freestyle, fellow senior Carson Humphreys took the boys 200 IM and the Bulldog boys won the 200 and 400 freestyle relays.
Wood River junior Zach Deal won the boys 50 freestyle and the 100 breaststroke. Sophomore Sara Clayton won the girls 100 butterfly and 500 freestyle, junior Faye Prekeges won the girls 100 backstroke and junior Owen Ruggeri won the boys 500 freestyle. The Wolverines also won the boys 200 medley relay and the girls 400 freestyle relay.
Twin Falls freshman Bryli Jensen won the girls 200 IM, teammate Taylynn Anderson won the girls 100 freestyle and the Bruins won the girls 200 medley relay.
Canyon Ridge senior Michael Ashby won the boys 100 butterfly and 200 freestyle, and junior Aidan Humble won the boys 100 backstroke.
Jerome won the girls 200 freestyle relay.
