SHOSHONE — The Panthers led just 33-32 at halftime, but they pulled away in the North Side Conference tournament game to reach the 1A Division II state tournament.

Carey has now advanced to the state tournament in each of the last 13 seasons, dating back to 2006.

Houston Hennefer scored a game-high 17 points, Kaden Koudelka and Brigham Parke each had 13 and Hayden Wayment added 10 for the Panthers (19-5), who will face Deary in the first round of the state tournament Thursday at 6:15 p.m. at Rocky Mountain High School in Meridian.

Peyton Lookingbill scored 15 points, while Jordan Bradshaw and Logan Stephens each added 11 for Lighthouse, which finished the season at 15-8.

TWIN FALLS — Oscar Villavicencio nailed a baseline jumper with 1.2 seconds left to keep Glenns Ferry's season alive.

The Pilots trailed 22-16 at halftime and 35-28 through three quarters, but they pulled out the Snake River Conference tournament win with a 19-11 fourth quarter.

Glenns Ferry coach Nate Jones said Villavicencio's last-second shot gave the Pilots their first lead of the game. It was also responsible for Villavicencio's only points of the game.

Wacey Williams scored a game-high 22 points for Glenns Ferry (11-13), which will play Oakley with a 1A Division I state tournament berth on the line Saturday at 7 p.m. at Murtaugh High School.

"We've got momentum," Jones said. "We'll just see what happens."

Rylee Spencer scored 19 points, and Ryan Spaeth had 12 for Raft River, which ended the season with an 11-13 record.
