MALTA — The Hornets improved to 12-1 overall and 7-0 in the Snake River Conference with the 25-10, 25-15, 25-21 shutout of the Trojans.
Oakley recorded 11 serving aces for the match. Seniors Rachael Mitton had a team-high seven kills, Makinlee Cranney followed with six kills and five blocks, and Blakely Payton finished with 18 assists.
“The girls fought hard and really came together in the third set,” said Raft River coach Branden Severe.
Raft River travels to Murtaugh on Wednesday. Oakley hosts Hagerman on Thursday.
Buhl 3, Wendell 0
BUHL — The Indians handled the Trojans 25-10, 25-16, 25-16 on Tuesday for a nonconference win.
Kylie Crossland had fives aces and seven of Buhl’s 21 total kills.
Buhl (6-5) plays at Valley and Wendell plays at Glenns Ferry on Thursday.
Lighthouse Christian 3, Richfield 0
TWIN FALLS — The Lions totaled 34 kills in the 25-15, 25-6, 25-7 North Side Conference win over the Tigers.
Senior Haylee Grossman was the leading hitter for Lighthouse Christian (9-0, 5-0) with 15 kills. Sabrina De Jong added seven kills and had 25 set assists, and Gracie Cover had six kills and seven serving aces.
Lighthouse Christian is at Camas County and Richfield hosts Hansen on Thursday.
Shoshone 3, Hagerman 0
HAGERMAN — The Indians defeated the host Pirates in the Snake River Conference match 25-12, 25-21, 25-16.
Hagerman senior Tristyn Hulme recorded a double-double with 13 kills and 14 digs, Brenna Firth finished with 16 digs and Aubri Achabal followed with 14. Setter Teresa Daily passed for 14 assists.
Hagerman (5-6, 3-3) is at Oakley and Shoshone is at Gooding on Thursday.
Hansen 3, Twin Falls Christian Academy 2
HANSEN — The Huskies bested the Warriors in five sets, 25-23, 22-25, 25-20, 14-25, 15-9 in the nonconference match. Yolanda Alaniz put down 12 kills, and Hansen setters, Kendy Kenney and Neilani McDaniel, combined for 19 assists. Shyla Brown led the defense with 11 digs.
Hansen is at Richfield and Twin Falls Christian Academy hosts Murtaugh on Thursday.
Valley 3, Glenns Ferry 0
GLENNS FERRY — The visiting Vikings posted a shutout over the Pilots 25-18, 25-22, 25-17 in the Snake River Conference matchup.
Glenns Ferry senior Sage Wootan carried the Pilots with seven kills, two blocks and five digs.
Valley hosts Buhl and Glenns Ferry hosts Wendell on Thursday.
Dietrich 3, Castleford 0
CASTLEFORD — The Blue Devils picked up a road North Side Conference win as Dietrich downed Castleford, 25-11, 25-17, 25-21.
Sydney Schoth led the Wolves with 16 set assists and libero Kennedy Adams had 10 digs.
Castleford (4-9, 0-4) hosts Carey on Thursday and Dietrich travels to Carey on Tuesday.
Murtaugh 3, Camas County 0
FAIRFIELD — The Red Devils downed the hosts Mushers, 25-17, 25-22, 25-19 in the North Side Conference match.
Abby Suitter led the Murtaugh offense with 11 kills, Fatima Aguilera followed with seven kills and had four aces. Daniela Aguilar added five kills and had four blocks.
Murtaugh hosts Raft River on Wednesday, and Camas County hosts Lighthouse Christian on Thursday.
Wendell 2, Bliss 1
WENDELL — The Trojans erased a 1-0 halftime deficit and earned an important High Desert Conference win.
“A much-motivated comeback,” Wendell coach Grace Silva said. “These girls fought for everything. Even though they fell behind at the half, they were determined to play their best and get the win for Wendell.”
With the win, Wendell lengthened its lead to 1 ½ games over Bliss for the No. 3 seed at the district tournament. Three regular season games remain.
Tatiana Martinez and Kyla Teixeira (assist Nadia Guadurama) scored for the Trojans (4-5-1, 3-4-1), who play at Community School on Monday.
Jenni Rodriguez scored for the Bears (3-6-1, 3-6-1), who play at Buhl Tuesday for their second-to-last regular season contest.
Buhl 3, Filer 3
BUHL — The Indians and Wildcats played to a High Desert Conference draw on Tuesday.
Kyra Azevedo scored twice, and Madison Somers scored once for Buhl (2-7-1, 2-5-1), which plays at Declo on Thursday.
Filer (1-8-2, 1-5-2) plays at Gooding the same day.
Bliss 7, Wendell 0
BLISS — The Bears took a half game lead for first place in the High Desert Conference standings with Tuesday’s blowout win.
Steven Rubio scored three goals, and Armando Cordoba and Angel Juarez each scored two for Bliss (10-1, 9-1), which plays at Buhl on Tuesday.
Wendell (1-8-1, 1-7-1) plays at Community School on Monday.
Gooding 3, Declo 0
DECLO — The Senators cruised past the Hornets for their first High Desert Conference win of the season.
Michael Rodriguez, Brian Mireles and Jovani Gonzalez scored, and Rodriguez assisted Mireles and Gonzalez.
Gooding (2-10-1, 1-8-1) hosts Filer and Declo (4-4-2, 4-4-2) hosts Buhl on Thursday.

BUHL — The Indians earned a crucial High Desert Conference win on Tuesday.
The win put the Indians in sole possession of fourth place in the conference, and they could take third place with a win over Declo.
Tanner Walker scored for Buhl (6-5-1, 4-4-1), which plays at Declo on Thursday.
Filer (5-6-2, 3-5-1) plays at Gooding the same day.
