Twin Falls 60, Wood River 36

TWIN FALLS – Twin Falls led by just three at halftime, but came out hot in the second half, attacking the rim and scoring seemingly at will. The Bruins outscored Wood River 39-18 in the second half.

After coming off the bench for several games in a row, Twin Falls junior guard Drew Meyerhoeffer busted out of a shooting slump, finishing with 21 points.

“It was great to see that out of Drew. We need scoring out of our backcourt, and if we get him going, that will really help us. We need him to score and hit shots from the guard position,” said Twin Falls assistant coach Shaun Walker.

Twin Falls (7-6, 2-3) next travels to Minico for a GBC matchup on Friday. Wood River (7-6, 2-2) travels to Minico on Monday.
