TWIN FALLS – Caitlin Crist had another big game, but she couldn’t lift the Riverhawks to a win on the final day of the Twin Falls Holiday Tournament.

In Thursday’s win over Filer, Crist scored 29 points on 11-of-15 shooting from the field (2-of-3 from 3-point range). On Saturday, she scored 28 points on an 11-of-16 shooting performance (1-of-2 from 3).

Canyon Ridge (2-11) next plays at Minico on Jan. 4.

TWIN FALLS – A 20-8 third quarter propelled the Broncos past the Bruins on the final day of the Twin Falls Holiday Tournament.

Twin Falls (5-8) trailed 14-13 going into that fateful third quarter.

Madison Glascock scored 11 points (4-of-8 from the field, 3-of-6 from 3) for the Bruins, who host Century on Jan. 2.

TWIN FALLS – A big third quarter lifted the Grizzlies over the Wildcats on the final day of the Twin Falls Holiday Tournament.

Skyline scored as many points (21) in the third quarter as it did the entire first half, and it outscored Filer by 12 points in the period.

Jailyn Gartner scored 16 points, while Fallon Stoddard and Ella Fischer each added 10 for Filer (1-11), which plays at Buhl on Jan. 9.

BOISE – A poor third quarter erased a strong first half for the Spartans on the final day of the TimberLion Tournament.

Minico led 27-19 at halftime but was outscored 15-4 in the third quarter. Centennial (10-2) also won the fourth quarter 15-12.

Saydi Anderson scored 18 points (7-of-12 from the field), and Taylia Stimpson added nine (4-of-11) for the Spartans (9-4), who host another 5A team – Highland – on Jan. 2.
