BLISS — The Community School girls soccer team has yet been held under five goals in a game this season.
By the looks of Wednesday’s competition, that may hold true for the rest of the year.
Senior co-captain Ellie Polk scored the Cutthroats first goal in the game’s first minute en route to a 9-0 victory at Bliss.
Despite missing two penalty kick opportunities, the prodigious Fish didn’t miss a beat, as Ella Viestrus scored three, Lily Fitzgerald two, Libby Kaiser, Kate Weatherholz and Grace Pepin one apiece.
The Cutthroats (5-0, 3-0 league) host Gooding Thursday.

Saisha Serratos had a hat trick for the Wildcats, knocking in three long goals, while Kliegl added a fourth. Freshman keeper Sophia Bartholomew pitched a shut out.

Cierra Hennings lead Shoshone with 9 kills while Monce Rivas added 8 and Patti Fitzgerald had 16 service points. Bailee Owens added 27 assists for the Indians in their game against Raft River. Against Richfield, Monce Rivas had 5 kills and Megan Koonce 10 service points. The Indians are 4-2 overall.
