SALT LAKE CITY – College of Southern Idaho volleyball, in its first game as the second-ranked team in the country, was swept on the road by 10th-ranked Salt Lake Community College Friday night. The Golden Eagles lost 29-27, 25-13 and 25-17.

Jojo Kruize led CSI with 11 kills, and Airi Miyabe had three service aces. Setter Morgan Weatherwax had 30 assists, and Esti Wilson had 11 digs. Salt Lake recorded 17 blocks, compared to just two for CSI. The loss snaps a 13-game winning streak for the Golden Eagles.

CSI (19-2, 2-1 Scenic West Athletic Conference) travels to Rangely, Colorado, next Friday to take on Colorado Northwestern Community College in another conference matchup.
