TWIN FALLS – CSI volleyball swept two games at the Starr Invitational Friday to improve to 11-1 on the season.

In game one, the sixth-ranked Golden Eagles swept No. 16 Arizona Western 3-0 (25-19, 25-13, 25-21). Right side Jovana Vukcevic led CSI with 15 kills, and Shiloh Peleras had nine kills and a team-high two blocks. Libero Esti Wilson added 25 digs, and setter Morgan Weatherwax dished out 24 assists.

In game two, CSI beat Northwest College for the second time in six days. The Golden Eagles won 3-0 (25-10, 25-17, 25-23).

Vukcevic added 11 more kills, four blocks and five kills, and Wilson posted 14 digs.

CSI returns to action on Saturday, when it takes on Yavapai College at 1 p.m. and Hutchinson College later in the day. Hutchinson knocked off CSI’s conference rival, Salt Lake Community College, in three sets earlier in the tournament. Salt Lake was ranked No. 4 in the country before the loss.
