TWIN FALLS — The College of Southern Idaho volleyball team extended its winning streak to 13 games with a nonconference sweep over Treasure Valley Community College on Monday night.

The Golden Eagles, ranked No. 5 in NJCAA Division I, cruised 25-12, 25-16, 25-18 at their home gym to improve to 19-1 overall and 8-0 at home.

Freshman outside hitter Sacha Legros led the way for CSI with 11 kills, seven digs, five aces and a block. Sophomore middle blocker Shiloh Peleras added six kills, Makayla Bradford had 13 digs and Elle Nesbitt dished out 20 assists.

Kimberly High School graduate Maysie Rongen had five kills and two blocks, and Minico grad Kelee Call added four kills and five blocks.

CSI embarks on a five-match Scenic West Athletic Conference road stretch, which begins Friday night at Salt Lake CC. The Bruins were ranked No. 8 in the latest NJCAA Division I poll.
