LAS VEGAS — The College of Southern Idaho volleyball team ended a five-match road stretch of conference games with an easy win over Southern Nevada Saturday afternoon.
The fourth-ranked Golden Eagles swept the Coyotes 25-23, 25-6, 25-11.
CSI’s string of road matches began on Sept. 29 at Salt Lake CC, which handed the Golden Eagles their first loss via sweep of the season.
CSI responded with two straight sweeps and a five-set win over No. 7 Snow on Thursday before Saturday’s road finale against the Coyotes (3-21).
Airi Miyabe had a match-high 16 kills with eight digs, and Shiloh Peleras added eight kills with two blocks. Jasymn Keohohina-Malina and Jovana Vukcevic had three blocks, Lacey McEwan had 10 digs and Morgan Weatherwax added 27 assists.
CSI (23-2) returns home this week and hosts No. 11 SLCC on Saturday at 3 p.m.
